for 384 Marks in neet 2020 gen category which private medical college should I apply for? if my. budget is 16lakh/anuum

Era Madaria 27th Sep, 2020
Hi Student

You can get a seat in your state if the cutoff for your state is low. So please mention your state or you can go through last year cutoff list for rough idea.

Cut off marks for medical colleges keeps changing every year depending upon various factors like number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the examination etc.

You can also predict your college with the help of our college predictor.

my daughter is expecting 470 mark,UR category , Maharashtra domicile . what is the possibility of getting in good private medical college in Maharashtra or any other State . budget is around 45L to 50L

Anurag Khanna 25th Sep, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

See it is little bit difficult to predict exactly in which private college you will get seat or not because different colleges have different cut-offs for State quota and All India Quota. Also, cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

But if we go through previous years NEET cut-off trends in Maharashtra then there are some chances for you to get seat in some of the private medical colleges, the reason being is last year the lowest cut-off marks was 433 for Vedantaa Institute of Medical Science Vedantaa Hospital and Research Center, Palghar under Home State quota for General category. Now if we talk about other states so you can try for some other states colleges also. States like Tamil Nadu, Kerala and some other states having comparatively lower cut-offs so you can try in these states.

You can check the previous years cut-offs of Maharashtr through the link given below :-

To have a list of all those colleges which you can get based upon your marks, category, and state you can use NEET College Predictor:-

private medical college offer variety of budget to the medical aspirants where fees varies frm clg to clg .if my rank is 250000 in AIQ is there any chance to get a seat in private medica( college ??

Manidipa Kundu Student Expert 24th Sep, 2020

hi,

see private medical colleges do not participate in all india counselling, you have to participate in state counselling like karnataka which is a open state to admission in private medical colleges. also there is many private colleges available in utterpradesh. fees structure varies and depends on college norms. however it would be best for you to do some research about the total fees, college infrastructure, education quality before joining in any college.

to know more about the probable college name based on your score please enroll for careers360 college predictor tool,

Hey!

First of all, congratulations on scoring 520 marks! There is a probability that you might get into any government medical colleges if you are lucky enough. With this mark, you could actually get into the best private or deemed colleges. All you have to do is that you should complete the counselling process where the fees will also be mentioned according to the colleges present.

sir, I got 460 Marks in NEET 2020, I m from Bihar and belong to general category, I want to admission in Karnataka pvt medical colleges. I want to know can I get admission in any low budget medical and can you help me find out low budget medical colleges and how much is there fees structure. Thanks

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 19th Sep, 2020

Sajjad, With a score of 460, your rank might be approximately between 73337-81607. This is an expected rank range: https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-result-marks-vs-rank . Now regarding the Colleges that you may have a shot at in Karnataka, you can only opt for Private Medical Colleges under Management Quota. You cannot opt for Government Quota of Private Medical Colleges and their fee structure is beyond 20 lakhs atleast per year. You can check the fee structure for each College at: https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/karnataka-private-medical-colleges-fee-structure . For a complete list of colleges that you may have a shot at, please use our College predictor: https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer .

I scored 250 to 260 range . I am comes under reserved category. I am looking for low budget medical seat in karnataka or Andra. is it possible to got seat through neet ?

Anurag Khanna 19th Sep, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

As you have not mentioned your Home State so considering it as Karnataka according to your profile.

See it is little bit difficult to predict exactly whether you get seat or not because different colleges have different cut-offs for State quota and All India Quota. Also, cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

But although according to the marks you have mentioned in the question you have chances of getting into some Private Colleges and Deemed Universities but not in Government Medical Colleges according to previous year's cut-offs in Karnataka which you can check out from the link given below :-

https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-karnataka

But if you want seat in Andhra Pradesh then you have to apply for All India Quota seats and on the basis of these marks it is quite difficult to get seat through it even for reserved category but as you have not specified from which category you belongs so it is quite difficult to guide you with an accurate information. However you can go through previous year's cut-offs of Andhra Pradesh which you can check out from the link given below :-

https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-ap

To have a list of those colleges which you can get based upon your marks, category, and state you can use NEET College Predictor:-
