Sir , I got 49.50%in class 12 and graduated in BALLB with 70%. am i eligible for CA intermediate Direct entry or not ?

Ishita 21st Jul, 2024

Hello Aspirant

The eligibility criteria for CA Intermediate Direct Entry for students with a commerce background is that they should have 55% aggregate in their graduation/post-graduation. For the students with non-commerce backgrounds, they should have secured a minimum of 60% aggregate in graduation/post-graduation. Since you scored 70% in BALLB, you are eligible to sit for the exam.

In order to pass the CA Intermediate Direct Entry exam, a candidate must score at least 40% in each subject and an overall average of 50%. There is no negative marking in the exam

Hope this helps

where is the CA inter exams conducted in shimoga according to last year can you let me know because i want to fill my form accordingly

Sajal Trivedi 9th Feb, 2024

Hello aspirant,

The applicants' preferences indicated on the CA Intermediate exam applications will determine which CA Inter exam venues are assigned. Aspiring chartered accountants from non-Indian nations have access to eight international exam venues in addition to Indian exam locations. The ICAI will assign the CA Intermediate exam sites for 2024 while taking a few things into consideration. When assigning exam centres, ICAI does not charge candidates any extra fees.

To know the exam centres, you can visit our website by clicking on the link given below.

What if I go for CA after my 12th class and dont manage to clear it(in case). will I remain degreless?

shivamtrivedi0005 4th Feb, 2024

Hello aspirant,

CA is one of those few courses in India that does not require graduation. You can pursue Charted Accountancy course right after your 12th class.

But I would suggest to keep doing a graduation in any stream because it is true that if you pursue CA right after 12th without engaging in any graduation programme and failed to clear it then you remain degree less.

Thank you

Hope it helps you.

So, CA is the toughest course in India. After your PU you can take addmission in B.Com, BBM or BBA. For the colleges you can take admission in government colleges or m.sc College of Bangalore or government first grade college of davangere.

For CA there will be three levels

  1. Foundation level
  2. Intermitted level
  3. Final

In CA the subjects will be typically include accounting, taxation, auditing, business laws, etc

In foundation level there will be four subject.

In intermediate there will be two groups each group consists of four papers.

In final level there will be two groups each level consists of four papers.

You have to take 40% in each paper. And your percentage should be 50 or else you will be fail and you have to give all the papers again.

I have decided to pursue CA after my 12 board exams along with b.com honors . Can u suggest me which college I should choose?

Tanya Gupta 14th Feb, 2024

Hello,

Congratulations on you for choosing CA as a career option. Personally i will suggest you to do B com instead of B com Honours because it will give you more flexibility to do CA without tension and do b com from a local college near your home. Because your main profession is CA.

Hope this helps you,

Thank you

Hello,

Pursuing CA alongside your MBA (Finance) job is possible. Enroll in CA Foundation, clear exams, and progress to Intermediate. Maintain your job while completing articleship training. Balance work and study commitments effectively. Seek guidance, manage time efficiently, and stay dedicated to your goal. With perseverance, success in both job and CA pursuits is achievable.
