Calcutta University don't offer UG courses at its own campuses. The UG course is provided by the affiliated institution of the university. Now depending on the course and the college, the marks requirement will matter as the admission to this colleges are on the basis of 12th marks. Now if you go for average colleges then you will get admission undoubtedly. For good colleges such as Asutosh College it can be tough.

Dear aspirant,
As per the information given on the official website of Calcutta University, to apply in Calcutta University, along with your application form, you also need to apply for an equivalence certificate in which they will determine your course requirements equivalent to a student who has completed an honors degree. If you fulfill that criteria, you will be able to seek admission in Calcutta University.
Hope this helps!
To get good marks in History Honours, firstly go through previous year question papers and analyse it. Understand the types of question asked. Another thing, while writing your answers make sure you are writing it in a proper way and format. It must begin with an introduction, followed by a factual body, an analysis, and finally, a reasonable conclusion. Strive to pick carefully and incorporate a critical analysis in your questions. It will enhance your answer and get you more marks if you can embellish them with quotes from historians. Also, focus on your time management skills and conduct a few mock exams on your own to assess your efficacy.
I don't know for which exam you are asking this. But in general, there are no such norms known about the Voter Card to be a valid identity in the examination center. You can consider any of the Unique Identification card such as License, Passport, Aadhar card etc.
Now if its written that you need to bring it then you have to take your admit to the examination center.
