campus placement
See any student isn't poor in studies. The actual fact is the student who needs a greater time to learn the skills. Now if you are such a student then you can also do better in your life and remember with the increase in age and experience we all evolve. So its possible for you to aim big and to achieve big goals.
Now the question you have asked is entirely dependent on your interest. See if you want to go for Higher studies then you will go to higher studies by studying from any college. Be it private or government, nothing will matter for you. Similarly if your are interested in job then you will get one if you really try. Now actually the problem is you don't know what you want to do in future i.e., you go for higher studies or you just want to go for jobs. Now this is a very normal thing. Most of the student don't know what to do next and you are one of them thats just fine.
I would recommend you to get the best college as per your capability. Study well there, while studying you will get know know a lot about the subject as well as industrial opportunities in the subject. When you will know all this facts you will get more sure or certain about what you want to do in future.
I hope this answer helps. All the very best for your future endeavors!
A very good question.
Your first Question : What is the difference between CSE and CSE with any specialization?
Ans: CSE deals with all the aspects which are related to computer science and engineering, whereas CSE with specialization involves mostly your specialization . For example, if choose CSE with cybersecurity then the major focus will be to make you excellent in cybersecurity whereas, Normal CSE is a comprehensive course in computer applications and system. It deals with designing and developing computer software and hardware processes. Through this course, the students will be able to understand, learn and use different programming languages, digital and analog electronics, networking and telecommunications, etc.
But there is a catch, with normal CSE too, you can study that specialization technology, not only this colleges nowadays are giving options for AI, ML when a student enters in 5th semester.
Question 2: Will they have different weightage during campus placement?
Ans: Not too much but a very slight difference as of now. In some cases, you might be getting the benefit of taking Computer Science with specialization . For example, a company whose major work is based on cybersecurity then for the obvious reason they will first give priority to the guy who has done CSE with cybersecurity as a specialization. But remember that, specialization makes you confined too because there are not a large number of companies that are based on your specialization, so in this case, Normal CSE has an edge, as there are bulk of companies for them, though most of them allow to sit the specializations students, too but few of them might not allow sitting.
I hope it clears your doubt. Feel free to connect me in the comment section if still having doubts.
All the best!

As per you query, I would glad to aware you that opportunities of tech placements are also given to enginerring physics students, one student last year grabbed 24 lakhs package while others get 3-4 lakhs in mass recuriting companies . So yes you can grab good package in some product based company but you need to work very very hard on your coding skills, problem-solving,projects and core subjects
Hope you found this answer helpful. Good luck for your future
Hey,
After completing MSc Physics at IIT,there are many job opportunities, the best companies come there for placements and the salary offered is also great. If you want to change your field you can even do that, for example you have interest in coding then you can even sit for placements for companies like Amazon that accepts students with strong coding background.
You can even assist a PhD professor, you can pursue PhD and if you are interested you can even work for Research and Development department. It's upto you, which one is the best for you that you have to decide.
Yes, internship opportunities are offered to UG and PG students at NIIT University.
Hello,
In current situation the main reason of hype in CSE branch for all the higher level colleges as well as mid level colleges is only because of the placement records. In every reputed colleges the large number of students get placed only through a CSE or IT branch so this makes clear that almost all students have a same intention of getting a good college is that they want a good and secured job. So now in your case if you have only motive that i have to get a degree with a proper hard-work and studies than also your future will be bright because a large number of students approaches a company off campus and in such cases also getting a job is a good sign.
Thank you..
Dear Aspirant,
yes there is campus placement at IIT Delhi for students studying executive MBA. During the final year of the course, various companies approach the campus to recruit students for jobs. The institution arranges the campus placement through the placement department cell at the institute.
Yeah! This usually happens. You can see the IITians get the salary range which is so high than other colleges in India. So these factor works due to the reason that in a competitive environment the student is competing as well as the reputation of the college ensures the quality of the education. So this fact occurs for 99% of cases there can be 1% of exceptions if a student from any other is competent to that of the IIT-ians.
