in 2021 since cbse board were cancelled my school gave me less than 75% and i wasnot eligible for jee but I appared for improvement as private candidate in 2022 and got 87% and have a full marksheet from cbse.. so am I eligible for jee mains 2024 ??

Hello Aspirant,

As you mentioned that you reappeared for your board examination of class 12th in the year 2022 and you have received 87% so you become eligible to give jee mains for sure.

Now, the number of attempts that you can give for jee mains is in the year 2022,2023 and 2024 only which means the upcoming year will be the last attempt and for jee advanced you are not eligible to give the examination as you can maximum give two attempts for that.

can i add additional subject marks on final marksheet if i got less marks in one subject in class 12 cbse board

shivamtrivedi0005 31st Aug, 2023

Hello aspirant,

Yes, the final mark sheet includes additional topic marks as well. We choose one additional subject in addition to the five required ones. Up to the 12th grade, they add extra subject marks to your final grade to raise your overall percentage. Sometimes, whether it's the major subject or the supplementary subject, they only add the top 5 subjects.

Thank you

Hope this information helps you

I took admission in Bihar Board in class 11th. Two months passed. only admission procedure has completed. Can I switch to CBSE Board right now??

shivamtrivedi0005 24th Aug, 2023

Hii there,

Switching from the State Board to the CBSE Board during the middle of your 11th-grade term is not allowed. If you initially enrolled in the 11th standard under the State Board, you are typically required to complete both the 11th and 12th grades at the same school without transferring to a different institution.

I hope this answers your question.

Thanking you

I have taken admission in a school with Maharashtra board. But soon I realised that maharashtra board is not preferable for jee preparation. Now it is august last week. can i change my college with cbse board now?

ayanmukherjee045 22nd Aug, 2023

Hello Mahesh,

You have taken admission in a school with Maharashtra board but let me tell you that it is a myth if you are not from a certain board then your chances of clearing jee mains examination will be lesser but that's not true.

In my time too, many have opted to go for cbse board but even from icse board we were able to clear jee examination. But even if you want to change your board for self satisfaction then you can opt to do it.

To get hold of the type of questions asked in the jee follow the instructions -

  • Go through the previous year jee papers
  • Follow ncert for chemistry, Allen handbook for formulas for Mathematics and D.C Pandey for physics (for concepts).
