Hello Aspirant,
See if you are seeking admission in any of the NITs/IITs/IIITs then you have to mandatorily appear for JEE-Main 2022 and for IITs you have to appear for JEE-Advance as well after qualifying JEE-Main 2022. So we have to check whether you would be eligible for JEE-Main 2022 or not. So there are some criterion which you need to satisfy in order to appear for JEE-Main so let us discuss them.
1--- Age criteria :- There is no age limit to appear in JEE-Main but note that there might be the age limit in any particular institution taking admission through JEE-Main score, so you should keep this thing in mind.
2--- Qualifying Examination :- To be eligible for JEE-Main one should have passed 10+2 examination with Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry as mandatory subjects from any of the recognized central or state board.
3--- Year of qualification :- For JEE-Main 2022 only those candidates who have passed Class 12 / equivalent examination in 2020, 2021 or 2022; or those who will be appearing in Class 12th / equivalent examination in 2022, will be eligible to appear.
Now let me make you clear that your percentage of class 12th has no role in determining the eligibility of yours to appear in JEE-Main because there is no requirement of any minimum marks to appear in JEE-Main but yes with 80.6% you would be eligible for admission to IITs/IIITs/NITs.

I hope this information helps you.
Good Luck!!
See admission to NITs are subject to your percentile in JEE-Main and your percentage would be merely an eligibility criteria for admission to NITs like if you would secure 80.6 percent in class 12th then you would be eligible for admission to NITs and also note that this year this percentage criteria (75% criteria) was waived off due to pandemic. Some other eligibility criterion which you need to satisfy some other points :-
3--- Year of qualification :- For JEE-Main 2021 only those candidates who have passed Class 12 / equivalent examination in 2019, 2020 or 2021; or those who are appearing in Class 12th / equivalent examination in 2021, are eligible to appear.
So if you follow all above criterion then you are definitely eligible for JEE-Main.

Hello Aspirant! Firstly, congratulations for your result. With 89 percentile in your JEE Mains you can't get CSE in Heritage College but you have chances of getting civil or mechanical if seats are left and it also depends on cutoff this year. So you nearly have chances of getting a lower branch but not CSE. All the Best!
Hello Sagnik. You mentioned you are from general category and your JEE Main percentile is 89.01. Based on your percentile your rank may lie within the range of 112428 - 126385. Its better you mention your exact CRL-AIR in the comment box below so that I can give you an exact answer.
Nevertheless, for the sake of answering your question, I have provided the 2019 JEE Main Cutoff Rank prescribed for admission to various streams at Institute of Engineering and Technology for Home State candidates :
Your 10th and 12th board exam results are good, so you need not to worry about that. But, if you have really secured a rank within the range 112428 - 126385 then you have less chance to get admission to any stream at IEM, Kolkata.
If you have attempted WBJEE 2021 and you think your WBJEE result is better than that of JEE Main then feel free to share those details with us. We will analysis the data and tell you whether you have any chance to grab a seat based on your WBJEE result.
