IISC is the top most institue and it really takes good academic and knowledge for joining IISC. You can join IISC through entrance exams such as NEET, JEE, KVPY and score a good marks.

For IISER alsi exams such KVPY, JEE are applicable.

With this percentile score yout approximately rank will be 18000-20000 and with this rank you may be able to get admission in some low ranking NIT s like Mizoram, srinagar, uttarakhand, sikkim etc from home state quota only

Hello student no its not compulsory to passed class 12th from cbse board as eligibility criteria says - Candidates must passed or appearing class 12 from any stream with minimum 50 percent marks from CBSE or a recognized board equivalent to cbse.
