Hello there!

Yes, you can appear only for that one particular subject for re-examination. It's not that big of a deal. Y ou can always try again. The only problem you will have to face is entrance examinations. Because your re exam results will decrease your ranking drastically.

Sorry to say but you Daughter cannot take Mathematics in her Intermediate as Students have to pass Mathematics-Standard in CBSE class 10 board exams to take up Mathematics at the senior secondary level.
