Well, no it's not compulsory to give the senior secondary examination from CBSE board. You can give the exam from any recognised state board and secure a minimum of 75 percentage for getting admission into IITs or NITs through Jee Mains score.

Both the exams have already happened and their results are also out, so, i believe you are asking for next year. Even if you don't give improvement you are still eligible for both the papers. As a person who is currently pursuing B.tech, I would recommend you to start working

BMS is the most expensive course in terms of cuttoffs ,the cuttoffs are really high for bms especially in Jai Hind college but your score is really good.So getting into Jai Hind College for BMS would not be tough.

The improvement marksheet comes in the same duration as the original marksheet comes but the difference here is the marksheet comes in the exam centre that was provided to you by the CBSE or if you can wait then the marksheet would come to your house only. I
Including English, physics, chemistry, maths calculate your percentile. If this comes out to be 75% mention that in your application. This will make you eligible for taking admission in government engineering colleges like nits, gftis.
