Hello Aspirant,

Before answering to the question you should be familiar with the eligibility criteria for CCMT 2020 decided by MNIT Jaipur :-

  • Candidates should have secured a valid GATE score in year 2018/2019/2020.
  • You should score at least 60% marks in your qualifying degree if you belongs to OC/OB and 55% if you belongs to SC/ST/Pwd.
  • If your result is awaited than you will be given provisional admission.

So according to these eligibility norms you should have a valid degree which comprises of marks as discussed above. Nowadays as we are suffering through critical and alarming circumstances so some relaxations will be given after the situation beacomes normal.

which nits or iits to apply in ccmt for MTech cse as my gate score is 371 and category is general?

Manidipa Kundu Student Expert 19th May, 2020

hi,

see at this score you have very less chances to secure nits let alone iits, however I would suggest  you to go for north east nits like nit harimpur, nit meghalaya, nit silchar, nit arunachal pradesh,

Hello student yes you're right getting admission into NIT and IIT for M.Tech course is through GATE Entrance examination only.
Eligibility - candidates must have passed B.tech /BE with a valid gate Score there's no upper age limit.

You need do register separately for the respective institutes at their respective official website. Also candidates need to register at GATE COAP 2020 Portal.

My GATE Score is 388 and 36.35 marks in civil engineering General Category. In CCMT registration payment for the round 1,2,3 if i didnt get the college, will i have to pay registration fee again for the Special Round. And if Yes. In 388 score should i only apply for the Special rounds.

Sharon Rose Student Expert 14th May, 2020

Hello,

Whether or not you are allotted a seat in CCMT counselling if you want to participate in spot round you need to register once again and make fee payment. The fee is as follows

  • NSR Registration fee - Rs. 2,500 (General/EWS/OBC), Rs.2000(SC/ST/PWD)
  • NSR Participation fee - Rs.40,000(General/EWS/OBC), Rs.10,000( SC/ST/PWD)

With such low score it is difficult to get a seat.

Gate score 388 CIVIL ENGINEERING (GENERAL CATEGORY). In CCMT should i apply only for thr special rounds ehich will happen after the round 1,2,3 or should i apply for round 1,2,3 also in this score.

Sharon Rose Student Expert 14th May, 2020

Hello,

To be honest with such score it is very difficult to get seat in any NIT/GFTI.You need to have 550 or above GATE score to have decent chances of getting seat in a NIT or GFTI.Spot round is conducted only if there are vacant seats available.A list of vacant seats will be released after the concluding round-1,2,3.It is difficult to get seat even in spot round, depends on the seats available and your preferences. You may participate but there are very less chances of getting seat.Cut off may increase or decrease.

You can know the chances of getting seat by using our GATE college predictor
