ECE has a wider scope and has a numerous amount of opportunities in terms of placements.

Both are Govt organizations and good. But IICT I think offers Carpet  and Textile Technology. Plastic industry is still a large one inspite of the environmental hazards and other stuff while Carpet and Textile technology are niche fields which means placements will be narrowed down to certain industries only. So
