hey can anyone pls tell me what percentile in jee mains would I need to get admission in cbit, jntuh or vnr vjiet aiml branch. I am from hyderbad and I do have an ews certificate as well as bce state certificate

Sankalp Agrawal 3rd Nov, 2025

Hello,

For admission to CBIT, JNTUH, or VNR VJIET (AI/ML branch) through JEE Main, the required percentile varies every year, but based on previous trends:

  • CBIT (AI/ML): Around 95–97 percentile for EWS/BCE candidates.

  • VNR VJIET (AI/ML): Around 96–98 percentile.

  • JNTUH (AI/ML): One of the toughest—usually 98+ percentile even with EWS/BCE quota.

Since you’re from Hyderabad and hold both EWS and BCE (state quota), your chances improve slightly in CBIT and VNR. Try aiming for 98 percentile or above to be on the safe side.

Hope you understand.

With EAPCET rank 3266 ews category.can I get admission in btech biotechnology in cbit

Rithwik Kumar Sahu 20th Aug, 2025

With an EAPCET rank of 3266 under EWS, you do stand a fair chance for admission into B.Tech Biotechnology at CBIT, as this branch usually closes at a comparatively higher rank than CSE, IT, or ECE. However, CBIT is one of the top private colleges in Telangana, so cut-offs fluctuate based on demand, and competition within the EWS quota can make it tighter. Your chances look moderately good, but you should also keep backup options in similar tier colleges like Vasavi, VNRVJIET, or Gokaraju.

Applying management quota for BTech CSE in CBIT 2025

Vasundhra 15th Jul, 2025

Dear candidate ,
To apply for a B. Tech CSE seat at CBIT through management quota ( 2025 ) , you must have passed 10+2 with PCM and preferably a valid TS EAMCET or JEE Main score .
You need to contact the CBIT admissions office , fill out the management quota form , submit necessary documents, and pay a non-refundable application fee .
The annual tuition fee is around 1.4 lakh , but donations for CSE may raise the total cost to 10-12 lakhs .
Seats are allotted based on availability and early application , so apply promptly .

Hello ma'am,

Yes ,with your TS ICET rank of 3168 in the BC-B female category you have a good chance of getting an MCA seat at CBIT. since their cut-offs have gone upto 6,000 above in recent years. However, seat allotment may vary based on seat availability, number of applicants and reservation policy .so,It's wise to fill in plenty of options and attend councelling as per the schedule to secure the best possible seat.

172 Views Hii I got 5655 rank in ts icet Im from bcb category can I expect MCA in cbit college

Taabia Fathima 13th Jul, 2025

Dear Candidate,

Thankyou for reaching out!

With 5655 rank in TS ICET under BC-B category

You have a decent chance for MCA at CBIT,but it's not guaranteed. MCA seats at CBIT are limited and cut-offs vary each year. In previous years the cutoff have been around 4,000 - 6,500. but, various factors like competition, seat availability, reservation affect chances each year .

Attend counsellings, keep backup options, stay flexible with choices and also consider management quota if you strongly prefer CBIT.

Respected sir / mam I got 5288 rank in TGICET 2025, 87% in BCA final year and 88% in intermediate can i get admission in CBIT for MCA?

Aryan 8th Jul, 2025

Hi dear candidate,

You have got a decent rank in TGICET exam as well as your BCA final year marks are also good. Your rank falls in the CBIT cut off but for the reserved categories only, if you are from general category then, it is slightly tough for you. If you belong to a reserved category (SC or ST) your admission is very likely. If you are from general category then you may need to wait till last round of seat allocation.

I got tg pgecet rank 1416 can I get seat in cbit or mgit for cse/ai/ds I belong to bce

Ayush Madanpotra 18th Jul, 2025

With a TG PGECET 2025 rank of 1416 and you belong to BCE category, your chances for getting CSE, AI or Data Science in CBIT or MGIT are a little low in the first rounds. These branches are very competitive and usually close around rank 400 to 800 in CBIT and around 1000 to 1200 in MGIT.

So, with your rank, it may be difficult to get CSE or AI in CBIT. But you might have some chance in MGIT, especially for AI or Data Science, in the last or spot round if seats are available.

You can also try for other good colleges like Gokaraju Rangaraju Institute, VNR VJIET, or Vasavi College (for related branches).

I got 60 Marks in icet exam and I have 87% in degree bba in Finance specialization and inter with 913 Marks I 10th grade 10gpa so now I am here to ask would I get admission in cbit clg with 60marks in icet exam.

OISHEE BANERJEE 1st Jul, 2025

Hello aspirant,
With 60 marks in TS ICET, your rank will likely be in the 30,000 to 40,000 range. CBIT (Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology) is a popular choice, and while the top merit seats, especially for MBA, may close below rank 5,000, self financed and leftover seats remain open until the later counselling rounds. Your strong academic record (87 percent in BBA and 9.13 GPA in 10th) will only help during document verification and when competing for limited seats. I’d recommend applying through the state counselling portal, listing CBIT as a preferred option, and tracking each counselling round carefully. If you stay active, you have a reasonable chance at securing admission in MBA or related management programs there.
