In response to your query, According to prior years' cutoffs, your ts eamcet rank should be below 3K. For now, attempt to attain a rank below 2K because competition is increasing and the cutoff is becoming tougher. Then the simplest option is to enrol in CBIT's cse department.

The following is the cutoff for admission to CBIT:

It's 1718 (man) and 1775 (female) in general (female)

It's 13035 (male) and 15866 (female) for SC ( female)

ST IT is 15187 (male) and 21151 (female) ( female)

Miles 4488 (male) and 6845 (female) for British Columbia ( female)

Getting a seat through management quota especially in reputed and top colleges like CBIT will cost you a lot. Management quota is preferred when the eligibility is not met. So, here your rank won't be considered or your rank won't impact the fee structure. The fees will vary from  1.3L to 1.8L per annum. (This is the fee structure for 2020 management seats in CBIT, there are chances of small changes in the amount).

Actually there is no comparison possible in between bit and other EAMCET colleges. VIT  is one of best private colleges nowadays. Computer science,data science or the course related to computer is largely better in vit. But you should clear there entrance exam also. Though in this pandemic situation they conduct there exam system in basis of board marks. But if you want to go for EAMCET colleges then it is absolutely ok. There are also some renowned colleges but those are actually based only on your EAMCET ranks.

Admissioin in CBIT college for UG course is through the marks scored by candidates in common entrance exams . Basically the college takes admission through EAMCET conducted by JNTUH . JEE Mains rank will not be eligible if you want to study in CBIT . Also the exact cutoff for branches is not yet being released by the college . Try appying for colleges that accept admission through JEE Mains . Below I have listed the category wise JEE Main 2019 cutoff -

According to the percentile given, you can expect your rank to range from 71610-80500. As of now it is hard to answer your question as the cut offs change every year based on a number of factors like number of candidates that appear for the JEE exam, question paper difficult, preferences selected by the student. The cut off varies for each course and for different category students. But yes there is a possibility for you to get b category seats in CBIT, Vasavi etc through your jee main score

Hello Nithin. It looks like you are interested in taking admission in Chaitanya Bharati Institute of Technology, Cuddahpah. Well, CBIT has released a notice regarding the admission procedure of 2021-22. According to the notice, 70% seats in each stream is reserved for Convener's Quota (candidates denoted as A-Category) while the remaining 30% seats is reserved for Management Quota (candidates denoted as B-Category). This 30% of seats will be filled on the basis of rank obtained in JEE mains, EAMCET and IPE or equivalent. They have also mentioned, a candidate must secure not less than 50% in aggregate or in group subjects (Maths, Physics and Chemistry) in the 10+2 qualifying examination or as per the government norms ( I hope you have fulfilled this criteria.)

Admission in CBIT is done on the basis of JEE Main Rank. For CSE, JEE Main AIR Cutoff should be around 25000; for ME the AIR Cutoff changes to around 40000 and   for IT , the AIR Cutoff ends up in 60000 . As per your JEE Main percentile, your rank should be in the range of 153450 - 172500. So, you may not be eligible to choose IT in CBIT based on your JEE Main performance.

At this point, I suggest you write the next session of JEE Main and try to fetch a better result. If you have attempted/will be attempting AP EAMCET, then try to crack it with good marks to get chance in CBIT.
