Students who successfully clear GATE examination are offered a scholarship of 5,000 rupees per month or 60,000 rupees per annum by Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology, Hyderabad. AICTE/MHRD also offers scholarships to such students. The students who have a rank between 1 to 400 in the TS PGECET exam are offered a scholarship of 60,000 per annum or 5,000 rupees per month. Candidates must be a graduate from a related engineering specialisation with a minimum of 50 percent aggregate and should qualify the entrance exam - TS PGECET,  Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE).

For CBIT B tech admission eligible candidates should qualify the TS EAMCET examination carried out through the Govt. of Telangana (70% seats), at the same time as 30% of the seats are crammed on the idea of rank acquired in JEE Main, TS EAMCET and IPE or equivalent. Candidates with a legitimate JEE Main rating are exempted from the TS EAMCET and are at once eligible for counselling.

The minimum expected cutoff rank of 17800 is necessary for the general category students to get admission to CBIT Hyderabad.

Candidates with a legitimate GATE rating are eligible for direct admission.
