Placements is the main thing Chandigarh university and Chandigarh group of colleges are known for. CGC's placement rate is almost 90% and it will definitely increase in the future. Last year highest package offered was 31.77 LPA by Amazon. The average placement is about 8-9 Lakhs per annum. You surely can achieve it if you work hard and sincerely :)

Both the colleges are good. The highest package of DAV institute of engineering and technology jalandhar is 20.5 lakhs and the highest package of CGC landran from CSE was for 32 lakh per annum at amazon. The placement cell of both the universities work hard for their students placement.

Both colleges has the same rankings on the basis of various factors like placements, faculty, infrastructure ect... Therefore it dosen't matter which college you are choosing as both are equally good. So think wisely and choose as per your convenience. The admission procedure in both the colleges is purely based on the acedemic performance and national level examinations. They offer admission to only the eligible candidates.

the cutoff for JSS academy of technical education is :- 3134 for general technology. for OBC girl category the range is 5145-8176. if you are having the rank in the range then you can apply for it. It is a good college with good rating. Placement is also good which has 8/10 in rating and good reviews too.

CGC stands for Chandigarh Group of Colleges.

Landran campus have 7 colleges

-Chandigarh Engineering College.

-Chandigarh College of Hospitality.

-Chandigarh College of Pharmacy.

-Chandigarh Business College.

Both colleges are good for ECE courses. However, if you consider best private college in Punjab as well as in North India please consider Chandigarh University. Chandigarh University is the best university in terms of Engineering courses whether it is civil, electronics, computer science, mechanical etc. Chandigarh University is the best leading private universities in India. It is the most fastest growing university. The university was accredited with A+ grade according to NAAC during its first visit only. Recently, in 2022 it is ranked #3 on India fastest and youngest group university according to QS World Ranking and secure 1 ^st position amongst all the public and private universities in Punjab. Recently, in 2022 it is ranked 29 ^th according to NIRF in all India ranking. If we talk about only the University Institute of Engineering of Chandigarh University.

CGC Landra is a good college but we can't say the best for ECE B.Tech. There are better institutes such as Thapar University in Punjab and if you want to see for the whole of India then there are definitely much better institues such as the much coveted IITs, NITs and other GFTIs. Also many private colleges like BITs are also the top choice for most of the students. So I would like to say that there are definitely many good colleges for ECE B.Tech course not only in Punjab but also in the whole of India.
