Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Landran, Mohali
CGC Landra is a good college but we can't say the best for ECE B.Tech. There are better institutes such as Thapar University in Punjab and if you want to see for the whole of India then there are definitely much better institues such as the much coveted IITs, NITs and other GFTIs. Also many private colleges like BITs are also the top choice for most of the students. So I would like to say that there are definitely many good colleges for ECE B.Tech course not only in Punjab but also in the whole of India.
Hello Saumya,
The Chandigarh Group of Colleges is a very reputed and prestigious institute that offers Bachelor's courses in various fields of commerce, Science and engineering as well.
The B.Com course provided by CGC is of three years and the fee structure is as follows-
Year 1- Rs. 46,250
Year 2- Rs. 43,650
Year 3- Rs. 43,650
All this comes to a total of Rs. 1,33,550 for 3 years.
This does not include the hostel fee, it will be charged extra if you wish to stay in hostel. The fees may vary depending on the college policy.
Hope this helps.
Hello,
The college is accepting JEE Main for the admission. It's not clear it accepts UPSEE for selection or not. There is nothing stated in the official site also. they give admission on the basis of your +2 marks and they take tests and GDs too. you choose in which way you want to go for an admission.
Better look for an private college which has best reviews and low fee structure and take an admission.
You will get an admission for sure and don't feel bad for the rank. It's fine.
use the college predictor:-
For SC category the qualifying minimum cutoff is 20% of total marks. That is you have to score minimum 120. So which means that you have sucessfully qualified the exam. You should look for colleges for yourself. Choose one which you are interested and find suitable also.
to get the list of college name use the UPSEE college predictor:- https://www.careers360.com/upsee-college-predictor

Hello Saurav!
You can apply for admission online or visit the college with all the necessary documents required for the admission process. The admission is based on academic performance and the national level examinations. The application process has been started and will remain open until the last week of June 2019. But please do not wait for the last date. The application fees should be paid from online methods such as credit card and debit cards.

Hello Srishti,
Both one is university and another is a college.
Both have their special qualities .
But if you get the difference between university and college then you choose CGC
Hi,
Among the options you have provided.I can surely say that Amity is better than CGC in terms of placements, reputation and in providing a conducive environment for studies.
Faculty are okay and you learn a lot from your peers.
All the best and choose wisely!
Hi Arunesh,
The chandigarh group of college is not a good college for ECE or any other engineering branch because it is a private college and the placement record is very low in this college.
Most of the top companies do not want to visit in CGC and do not prefer students of CGC. The level 2, 3 companies are visited in this college and they are also paid by college.
For CGC branch it is not a good college many other good colleges are also available in Chandigarh so try them and don't waste time to taking admission in CGC.
Hope this information help you.
Amity Gwalior provides a good B.tech course with a able academia and curricular. The placements of Amity is better, the faculty and course curriculum is par with the degree and designed in a way that makes the student well versed and knowledgeable. Infrastructure of the college is amongst the best in gwalior and there are all necessary labs and equipment required for the course . The college focuses more on the practical aspect then theoretical, preparing students for life after college.
Whereas Amity gwalior is small but up to the mark. It succeeds in giving it's students a professional environment and practical experience.
There are highly qualified faculty to guide , a competitive and enthusiastic spirit among the students. Previous years records show that Amity provides on-campus placements.
Labs for engineering, Field trips ; Sports programs and not to forget canteens and cafes to hang out are facilities provided by amity to ease the student's transition into a working individual . Amity also has a safe friendly environment and a good gender ratio.
