The placements and packages varies each each irrespective of the college.

The placements totally depends on the college's prior placement experiences, ranking and the package depends on the student's ability and the company's notices.

So it is not an exact value or ratio every year.

PIET is a private institute approved by AICTE. It has been given an overall rating of 3.7/5 and placement rating of 3.8/5 as per careers360. 

Samalkha group of institutions, panipat is a pricate institute approved by AICTE and accredited by NAAC A and ISO. It has been given an overall rating of 2/5 and placement rating of 2/5 as per careers360. 

Chandigarh group of colleges,landran campus,  mohali is a private institute approved by AICTE. it has been given an overall rating of 3.6/5 and placement rating of 3.9/5 as per careers360.

CGC is a very good place with a positive environment and is best known for its placement. CGC is the best college in north India. CGC has 2 colleges i.e 1 in landran and other in jhanjheri. In landran campus, there are 2 sub colleges i.e. CEC (CHANDIGARH ENGINEERING COLLEGE) and COE (COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING) and have many different branches like HOTEL MANAGEMENT, CHANDIGARH BUSINESS SCHOOL, PHARMACY etc.

so I recommend you to join CGC over YCET.
