I am doing ca. Should i study bcom(hons) from satywati evening or bcom( hons) zakhir husain evening or bcom prog. from bhagat singh evening?

Himanshu Student Expert 15th Jul, 2019

Hii,i am here to help you according to your query. If you'll ask me I'll prefer zakir hussain evening college as I've never got a good review about swami shraddhanand morning college. But it also depends on you if you can study in a evening college. According to my friends (from evening colleges) there schedule get really disturbed as evenings are not meant for studying. They are perfect for someone who is working along with their graduation. Do consider everything before making a decision. Good luck

Can I get bhagalpur collge of engineering my jee main percentile is 85.4067139 and crl 166529 belonging to general ews ca

anuhya28.e Student Expert 14th Jul, 2019
Hello aspirant,
From this year onwards JEE ranks can also be used to get admission in bhagalpur college of engineering. You have got an good percentile in JEE. As this is the first time the councelling board is using JEE rank I am not sure of what will be the closing rank. As you have good percentage you can try attending the councelling.
As per your rank and previous year cutoff, the colleges you get are:-

  • BCE Bhagalpur

  • MIT Academy Mumbai

I am pursuing ca. Should i do bcom fron shaheed bhagat singh evening or bcom hons from satyawati evening college?

Shreyash Kumar 14th Jul, 2019

Hey,

I would say satyawati college is a better option. You should try getting a morning college as evening colleges are not that good and also not safe for girls. You can pursue ca along with it as there is not much issue of attendance in this college. You can go to college thrice a week and prepare for ca .

Is attendance is compulsory in this college even if you are doing CA?

ruchi_1559283793 Student Expert 18th Jul, 2019

hello dear,

if you are doing chartered accountancy course, then you probably will be taking coaching for the same. so it is difficult to manage the ca coachings with the regular college. if you have regular college, then every college provides for a particular minimum attendence for the semester which will depend on your college policies. however, if you pursue graduation from open learning college, like du sol, you can manage easily as you have to go for exams only .

hope this would help you.

Procedure to become a ca after 10th

harshita_1558773432 Student Expert 11th Jul, 2019

Dear aspirant

As per the rules of ICAI you can not look for CA after 10 but yes, if you have completed your 10+2 then for sure you have your doors open for the CA now.

Well, it is a highly respected professional course with a promising future. It is a tough course and requires lots of hard work. It is one of the best courses in commerce stream in India.

You have two options, you can either complete your 12th standard and enroll for the foundation course(the first stage of CA course) or complete your graduation and then enroll for intermediate examination (the second stage of CA course.) i.e u can skip foundation if you have completed your graduation.

For CA I have to do bcom. From distance or regular, which is better

Payal Patil 11th Jul, 2019

If your college is ready to accommodate and gives you time to attend coaching for CA, then regular is fine, but if not, then distance would be a better option as when you get to IPCC, the workload is too much to manage along with college assignments and projects. Also the classes take up your entire day. This won't leave you any time to study.

Also, Graduation is not compulsory to become a CA, unless you want to get in through Direct Entry, which is for Graduates, wherein they have to appear for only the second and third level (and the articleship, of course).

Good luck!

please guide for the rules of sybba(ca) to go into third year?Ive cleared all the theory subjects, except 2nd years two practicals.

Himanshu Student Expert 11th Jul, 2019

Hii,Both have practical component. CA is numerical and CS is theoretical.

A student should go for CA if the student wants to make his/her mark in accounting initially. Because later at the last module of the exam, you will have so many subjects which will allow you to choose any domain of finance you like. But first you need to be exceptionally good in accounting to clear the first and second module.

A CS is someone who will take over the corporate governance of the company. S/he will be a master of corporate laws and practice and will be able to act as a direct advisor to the board of directors of the company. To pass CS, you need to have special liking for Law and how it works in company perspective.

So based on both interests you will have to choose which one you want to make your career in.

Because the prospects are not the same. So don not get confuse.

Good luck.

I am a CA student. Can I apply for CAT with open degree from IGNOU. Please suggest

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 17th Aug, 2019
Dear Sai, there are 2 things to it. If you are still pursuing your CA Articleship, you unfortunately are ineligible for appearing for CAT 2019. But if parallelly you have pursued a Graduation degree along with CA, though you havent completed your CA Articleship, you are eligible for CAT. The rule says that if you have not completed any Graduation course and are in the final year of a Professional course like CA/ICWA/CS, you are not eligible for CAT 2019. But puruing a Graduation course now will consume 3 years and by then you wpuld have missed atleast 3 chances of appearing for CAT. You havent mentioned how many months of Articleship are you left with. But the early way to appear for CAT is to complete ypur remaining tenure of the Articleship and get your Professional degree and appear for CAT.
