Hey,
Chartered Accountant or CA is an amazing career option if you can deal with finance and tax related matters.Big companies hire qualified CAs who can guide them to success and in return give them salaries. But being a CA requires lot of patience and dedication. So be sure of your calling.
You need to keep in mind that not every college provides Chartered Accountancy course.First off you neef to get yourself registered with ICAI that is Institute of Chartered Accountancy education in India.
Exams and courses required to become a CA are:
CPT-Common Proficiency Test
IPCC-Integrated Professional Competence Course
FC-Final course
Candidates can appear for CPT after 12th after clearing which they become member of ICAI.
After that, you need to clear IPCC and then three years of articleship under a qualified CA.
If you are graduated then you can directly apply for IPCC.
During the last six months of your three year articleship, you can appear for FC.
After clearing FC,you will become a Chartered Accountant.
Hope this helps

Hello Indhumathi,CA itself is such a prestigious course that nothing else is required with it. So, obviously doing CA without B.com is still worth it, but also it is a very risky thing to do.Because becoming a CA is a long process and also very difficult, so most of the aspirants leave it half way or switch to something else, many even drop it after giving so many attempts. So, it's always wise to do B.Com along with CA so that at least after 3 years you will have an assured degree and that will be like a cherry on the top! Also, the curriculum of B.Com is very much parallel to that of CA so you can easily manage the two and pass the B.Com exams very easily if you are studying well for CA.
Hope this Helps.Good Luck!
The fact is, ACCA is a global professional course which has it presence in so many countries whereas CA has it's presence in India and limited to the Middle East. The scope of ACCA in India is you can work with the Big 4 which have Indian as well as global entities in India. Companies like KPMG global will require ACCA and give a higher package and a better start than non ACCA graduates. They deal with international customers and clients and need ACCA graduates as they have better understanding of global audit and related subjects.
Hope this helps, all the best.
Hello!
There is no link between doing B.Com and CA, however there is a diffrence in both the courses, CA is a professional course while B.Com is a graduation degree. So if want to pursue B.com it will be an added advantage of are doing CA so you can do both .
Hope this is helpful.
Good luck.
Hi Suguna. There is no course like B.com (CA). B.co and CA are two different things. B.com is a bachelors degree whereas CA is a professional course. In addition, B.com is available at Vellalar College of Arts and Science College for Women erode.
I hope this information has helped you:)
