Hi Aishwarya
If you are thinking about it then you should go for it. You can opt any course but pursuing b.com will give you some advantage for CA. You will have a lot of time to prepare for CA exams, the subjects you'll study will somewhat help you with the CA papers and also many CA firms visit colleges for campus recruitment. So take your time to make the decision.

You are advised to get yourself registered in the month of June, after the declaration of your Class 12 result, so that once on receiving the result you will block your funds in CA only when you are sure of doing CA, without delaying your any attempt.
Under new course, your eligible first attempt shall be 4 months of study after passing Class 12 Examination. Hence, generally, the first attempt for students will fall in November of same Year.

Dear Arumugam, CA has 3 phases as in Foundation, Intermediate, and Final. For CA Foundation, you should have at least appeared for your 10+2 examination from any recognized Institution. There will be 4 papers for CA Foundation course. For appearing in CA Foundation exam, you should have completed 4 months of the study period and have qualified 10+2. While there is no specific aggregate that you need to score in your 10+2, you should score a minimum of 50% in aggregate and 40% in each subject individually. So for CA Foundation, even you pass your 10+2, you are qualified to write the exam.
