The candidate who have passed 12th class in 2018 and wish to do CA, but they are not registered to ICAI for CPC, what they need to do to ?

Anonymous 23rd Aug, 2018

Hii

Registering over to Common Proficiency Course with Board of Studies of ICAI on or before June 30, 2017 is a must thing to be eligible for CA CPT 2018 December examination.

I am afraid to say that you can't apply for CA CPT 2018 December examination.

As per the officials, In case any candidate found in violation of CA CPT 2018 eligibility criteria, his/her candidature will be considered disqualified.

All the best.

what is the procedure of CA after 12th or B.Com in bhu(banaras hindu university in vanaras,u.p)

Aditi amrendra Student Expert 27th Sep, 2018
Hello Aspirant,

To get into BHU after 12th you have to clear the entrnace exam conducted by BHU to get admission in the college and also your board marks should be equal to or above the cutoff marks they provide.

To do CA you have to fill the form after 12th and clear the CPT exam in order to do CA further.

I hope this helps.

Can u suggest any good book for CA-CPT preparation?Special for Maths.

SONU 18th Aug, 2018

Let's go according to paper sequence

1. ACCOUNTS (Paper 1 - 60m)

ICAI study material is more than enough for accounts.

2. LAW (Paper 1 - 40m)

ICAI material + S.Chand's Mercantile Lawsfor CPT

S.Chand - easiest language for law at CPT level particularly. Examples for explaination are great.

3. ECONOMICS (Paper 2 - 50m)

  • Micro Economics (Approx. 25m) - ICAI material + Padhuka. Padhuka help you to build strong conceptual clarity for micro Economics.
  • Macro Economics (Approx. 25m) - ICAI material is more than enough.

4. QUANTATIVE APTITUDE (Paper 2 - 50m)

  • Algebra (Approx. 25m) - NCERT material would be recommended for basic learning.
  • Statistics (Approx- 25m) - ICAI materialitself.

I am right now doing articleship for CA Finals .Can I thereafter do MBA from IIM

Sudeshna Dutta 2nd Oct, 2021

Hello Aspirant,

Hope you are doing well.

Individuals should enrol for articleship while concurrently preparing for the CA final test, if at all possible.

I believe, however, that you are either uninterested in CA as a subject or believe that articleship plus studies would be a difficult job, and you want to substitute MBA courses for articleship and study.

It all depends on what you want to do with your life and work. If you are not interested in becoming a CPA, you should focus on earning an MBA from a reputable institution, since pushing yourself to follow a career path you do not desire would be a poor choice. But keep in mind that you will always be questioned why you left CA, whether it is during your MBA admissions process or during job interviews later on. If you don't want to remove it off your resume entirely, you'll need to come up with a compelling and legitimate explanation for doing so.

However, if you believe that articleship plus studies will be difficult, remember that many others have done so in the past and will continue to do so in the future. It's not impossible to do so. It is possible to accomplish your goals with proper preparation.

However, all of this is incidental. Before you ask people if you want to be a CA or an MBA, you need first figure it out for yourself.

Hope you got the answer to your question. Incase of any queries, feel free to question. Have a great day!
