As you nay know, there are 2 attempts for CA Foundation, i.e. May and November.

For May attempt the last date is 31st December.

For November attempt last date is 30th June.

yes you can study from institute's books and solve model papers. Make sure you understand the concept specially in accounting. Plan properly if you have doubts you can refer youtube channels and subscribe them for guidance. REvise and practice is important.

For the CPT exam, accountancy is considered to be a scoring exam. If you are good in accounting then your chances of cracking the CPT also increases So here is some preparation tips you can follow.

• Make sure to be thorough with your mercantile law and do not miss out on any of the laws, definitions and any topics.
• First, complete the macroeconomics and then move on to the microeconomics. Questions from macroeconomics are also considered to be a good scoring option.
• Quantitative aptitude is important here as well. Here in the mathematics, it will be great if you first do all the easy sums and then move on to the complicated ones.
• Selecting the right answers within a given frame of time is important, as the level of competition will be very high.
• You need to be confident in your approach. So your knowledge will not depend on your guess work, but you will be confident about all that you answer.

The form will most likely begin in the month of October 2018 for CA-CPT(December 2018).
