I am in 3 year of bcom hons. What can I do after it except ca,cs and CMA???

Anonymous 13th Nov, 2017

After your graduation in Bcom, the following career options you can choose are:

  • M.Com
  • MBA (Preferably finance, if interested)
  • Diploma courses (Related to Banking)

If you wish to remain in your field of interest then the above are the courses option for you but in case you look for a field change then also you can pursue MBA or work for some decent years for your skills and personality development.

You can also prefer to do internship in the stream you are interested to gain knowledge and expertise.

All the best!

I have completed my h.s.c from commerce what is better for me C. A or M.B.A in finance through cat examination

Sayyed Muhammed 27th Nov, 2017
CA is a long way where a few people pass all three steps at first step. Lion portion of CA aspirants leaves CA in halfway. MBA is a more definite way where you know most of your success when you join a premier B School. For CA, you have scopes like auditor whether it be private practice or be in corporate auditors and for MBA, you do not have this. In corporate finance, both have same scope if you're from a premier business school.

IAM studied bcom CA I had interested in CA i can study and which collage

Anonymous 10th Nov, 2017

Have you completed your bcom or you are doing Bcom with CA? If you have completed your Bcom and you are interested to do CA then the criteria is:

'If you have completed Bcom with 55% by studying any three papers of 100 marks each out of Accounting, Auditing, Mercantile Laws, Corporate Laws, Economics, Management (including Financial Management), Taxation (including Direct Tax Laws, then you are eligible for direct entry without CPT exam.'

OR

'Graduates or Post Graduates other than those falling under Commerce stream mentioned above having secured in aggregate a minimum of 60% of the total marks or its equivalent grade in the examination conducted by any recognised University (including Open University).'

Once you meet the above eligibility criteria, register for the Intermediate (Integrated Professional Competence) Course and submit the filled-in applications to Offices of the ICAI.

Then you have to go for articled training, details of which is mentioned here.

Good Luck.

Anonymous 9th Nov, 2017

As per the eligibility criteria for CA CPT, you should have passed 12th and there is no specific percentage mentioned.

Also candidates who have completed graduation or post graduation in Commerce stream with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate of all subjects or its equivalent from a state or nationally recognised university are exempted from CA CPT.

So incase you have done bcom and have percentage above 55% you do not need to give the exam.

Rest criteria you can check here for CA CPT entrance. There is no mention for reserved categories.

Good Luck.
