As you are in a dilemma either to select chemical engineering in NIT WARANGAL or metallurgy engineering in NIT TRICHY, I suggest you opt metallurgy engineering in NIT TRICHY because compare to the chemical field metallurgy has good scope and compare to NIT WARANGAL NIT TRICHY ranks top.

the best college which takes through jee mains will undoubtedly be ict mumbai where you will get a slight touch of real chemical engineering.

then comes nits such as nit trichy,suratkal,warangal

then nits such as allahabad,nagpur,surat,bhopal

As per your rank in JEE Mains it is difficult to get any government college in gujrat for chemical engg. Generally minimum percentile require for govt. college for chemical engg. is above 97 and general categories rank should be Below 9000 for general category. You can apply for

As per the resources and analysis done in year 2018 it is found that NIT JALANDHAR is better for Chemical Engineering than NIT BHOPAL in Chemical Engineering.
