Dear Ravikiran,

Candidates admitted to BTECH courses from rank 101 to 1000 of the respective merit list are eligible for merit-cum-means scholarship.

Scholarship amount shall be determined based on the parents’ annual income (from all sources) as mentioned below:

Upto Rs.3 lakhs- 100%

Above Rs.3 lakhs upto Rs.5 lakhs-

Hey Sandip,

Many colleges keep 60% aggregrate as a minimum requirement in class 12 Boards , but there are colleges which go to 75% aggregrate in this case.So do your best in exams and don't worry.

The cutoff for GATE 2018 has not been released yet. Therefore, you can check last year's Chemical Engineering cutoff marks to get a probable idea of what the expected cutoff might be for this year:

General - 44.30

OBC - 39.80

SC/ST/PH - 29.50
