Got 158 in keam . Is this enough for getting admission in CET

Hi Swetha Santhosh.

I don't think a mark of 158 will help you in getting a seat in CET, even if you have OBC reservation. And, what are your board marks? If those are really high, you may get a seat in CET. If not, chances are very less.

NIT Allahabad is very good both in terms of academics and placements.

NIRF 2017 ranking by Indian Government -

NIT Rourkela 12th in country

NIT Allahabad ranks 41.

Candidates must have passed their Class XII with aggregate marks of 60% in Mathematics, Physics and chemistry
Candidates must have scored at least 50% marks in English in Class XII.
There will be 5 % relaxation in marks for candidates belonging to Schedule Caste and Schedule Tribe

Yes, if you clear your chemistry paper in re-exam then you are eligible for applying to admission in any engineering college. Because your JEE marks will be valid and considered only if you pass in all you board exams.

No it will impossible you have to clear all the subjects as they ask for 50% in each subject. And this is the main subject of science. Hope for the best.

Sir, you have written with the heading of chemistry syllabus "theory". Does that mean that numerical will not be asked in the exam?

Hi Adarsha,

The admission procedure for NIT has criteria of accepting JEE MAINS scores . The scores can only be calculated on marks obtained in all the 3 subjects ie; physics,chemistry and maths. A single subject's marks can't predict your chances to get into NITs.
