Since there is absolutely no cut-off data for admission based on KVPY released by IISER its very hard to give you a specific answer. 

IIT JAM is an entrance exam for M.Sc. which is conducted by IITs. It is one of these exams which difficulty level is very high and the syllabus is huge. It requires the well-structured study plan for preparation.

For admission in b tech. In biotechnology engineering, you must passed 12th with mathematics, physics,english abd chemistry/biology.

So, you can not take admission wifb your mentioned subjects.

Having a degree is a mere formality to qualify as eligible.
M. Sc Chemistry is a granted tough field. I would suggest you check various PSU openings or govt exam portals
