Sir I am a 2nd year mechanical engineering student but I completely lost my interest in this field My interest is towards chemistry side Please guide me what should I do If I continue with engineering it feels like a burden on my head Or should I leave it Kindly help me sir

ayanmukherjee045 6th Feb, 2022

Dear student,

As you mentioned about your problem I can totally understand the situation because I have gone through it. But I would suggest you to atleast complete your b.tech degree by any means because you are 2nd year engineering student. Just complete it for the sake of the degree. It doesn't matter even if you will not be placed. Then after completion of the degree kindly go for the masters degree in your field or the subject you like. You can also give iit jam for it.

You can also pursue the MS degree in abroad. There are much opportunities and streams and you can do it quite efficiently over there.
