Well skipping any subject won't help you in anyway. All the subjects and concerned syllabus mentioned as in under the examination syllabus part need to be covered in order to qualify the exam. The exam won't be able to come easy to you. Skipping an entire part of syllabus

According to your marks , as per the previous year cutoffs your predicted rank would 3000-6000 . Most probably you would also clear the subject cutoff , so you have good chances to get a IIT seat . You can get good branches in iit like Dhanbad
