You will have to study mathematics in the first year because it is a compulsory subject for B.Tech.
As far as your desire of studying Chemistry is concerned, I would suggest you to go for Chemical engineering.

 it is the right way to follow ncert for inorganic chemistry in jee advance but it does not help you to score marks more. If your basic is strong then you will use JD LEE as a reference book which helps you a lot to score well in

For B.A admissions, generally language subjects are considered. Best four will include English as a compulsory subject, and three other subjects. Since you studied 5 subjects then the subject you scored more marks in, will be considered. If you are applying for B. A in Hindi, then Hindi will be

I assume you are asking about BITS. According to the eligibility criteria of BITS, candidates need to have an aggregate of 75 % in PCM/B and 60% individually in each subject. Based on the data you've given, your aggregate is 74.67. So despite having more than 60% in each subject,

According to the guidelines, a candidate must secure minimum 50% marks (GEN), 40%marks (SC/ST/OBC), 45% marks (GEN PH) & 40% marks (SC-PH/ST-PH/OBC-PH) taken together in PCB subjects (aggregate). You'll have to pass in chemistry and have an aggregate of 50% in PCB.

Dear Aspirant,

Yes you are very much eligible to write BITSAT exam however it will be very difficult for you to get a seat in course of your choice since your PCM aggregate score is lesser than 75%. I do hope you have other options in your mind .
