it is the right way to follow ncert for inorganic chemistry in jee advance but it does not help you to score marks more. If your basic is strong then you will use JD LEE as a reference book which helps you a lot to score well in
According to the guidelines, a candidate must secure minimum 50% marks (GEN), 40%marks (SC/ST/OBC), 45% marks (GEN PH) & 40% marks (SC-PH/ST-PH/OBC-PH) taken together in PCB subjects (aggregate). You'll have to pass in chemistry and have an aggregate of 50% in PCB.

Yes you are very much eligible to write BITSAT exam however it will be very difficult for you to get a seat in course of your choice since your PCM aggregate score is lesser than 75%. I do hope you have other options in your mind .
