1. One language subject
2. Subject you want admission in: in your case Chemistry
3. Any two other academic subjects: in your case Physics and Mathematics

79.6% is quite a low score for clearing cutoff of B.Sc. Chemistry at Fergusson college, Pune. The cutoff is usually > 90% for non-Maharashtra residents. For Maharashtra residents, the cutoff is low. It also depends on your category: whether Gen/OBC/SC/ST.

Dear Venkatesh, it depends on when the Supplementary exams are. The rule is that you should have completed your 10+2 atleast by the time of admission. So lets say the supplementary exams are in April/May and the results will be announced before KCET counselling starts, then your friend is eligible
