According to official eligibility criteria of GGSIPU, candidates need to have scored a minimum of 55% aggregate in PCM. Based on the data you provided, your friend's PCM aggregate is 49%. So, you friend doesn't satisfy the required eligibility criteria.

Hello Shwetakshi,

The formula for percentage calculation is-

(Total obtained marks / maximum marks of the exam ) ×100

Here excluding your 6th subject marks you have a percentage of 70%. 

And exchanging  maths with your 6th subject your percentage comes to 79%

No only learning reaction and reagents isn't sufficient enough to score good marks, there are chapters like biomolecules,  chemistry in daily life,
Physical Properties, chemical properties,preparation process,  etc., are also asked.
So organic chemistry should be learned completely to get good score.

Hello,
To score 40 50 marks in chemistry just learn important topics like ORGANIC CHEMISTRY,SOLID STATE,P BLOCK,ELECTROCHEMISTRY,KINETICS,etc topics from the NCERT books and see previous 10 year's question papers for practice.

For pursuing B.tech through any trade and college you must study physics,chemistry and maths in intermediate.It is the eligibility criteria for b.tech.After taking admission in b.tech you can leave chemistry after one semester.

Yes you can surely get a good college in DU as your best four percentage is above 96%.
But some colleges such as Hansraj college take admission on the basis of PCM % in 12th for B.Sc courses.
So make sure that you enquire in the respective college
