how can i get admission in cmc v

tanvi bansal 18th Jul, 2025

To get into the MBBS program at Christian Medical College (CMC) Vellore, you must first pass the NEET-UG exam with a good score. For open category candidates, this typically means scoring above 600 marks, while Christian minority-sponsored candidates may need slightly lower scores. Admission mainly depends on your NEET rank. You also need to meet eligibility requirements, such as completing 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Biotechnology, and English, and achieving at least 50 percent marks (40 percent for reserved categories). The application process starts in February, usually around February 11, and ends by the end of March. You must submit an online application and upload necessary documents, such as academic certificates, your NEET scorecard, and minority certification if it applies to you. CMC has 100 MBBS seats. Out of these, 70 are under the management quota (which includes minority-sponsored seats), and 30 are filled through Tamil Nadu state government counseling (DME). Applicants who want to get in through the management quota must also submit a separate application to CMC and take part in their internal merit-based selection. After NEET results are announced, eligible candidates must register for Tamil Nadu DME counseling to compete for government quota seats.

CMC Vallore me admission ka process & Fee structure kya hai? 353(Obc) SGC Bihar ke liye Mbbs ka scope hai kya. AIR-310052

Pradeepa P 1st Jul, 2025

CMC Vellore admits students through NEET-UG followed by Tamil Nadu state counselling . You must apply on the CMC portal and also register for Tamil Nadu counselling. The annual MBBS fee is around rupees eighty four thousand , including tuition and other charges. Hostel and living expenses are additional.

With 353 marks and AIR 3,10,052 in OBC category , getting an MBBS seat in CMC Vellore or any government medical college is highly unlikely , even under the SGC (Single Girl Child) or minority category. However, you can still apply and wait for later rounds or consider private or allied medical courses .

AI RANK in neet 2025 was 506831 is it sufficient to secure self finance Christian minority seats in cmc vellore

Kishan Bhakat 22nd Jun, 2025

hi,

506831 in NEET 2025, it will be very difficult to get a seat in self-finance Christian minority quota at CMC Vellore. Even for minority seats, the cutoff at CMC Vellore usually stays around 300 to 400 marks or better ranks. The competition is quite high for CMC because it is one of the top medical colleges in India.

Is cmc Ludhiana better than any other semi govt medical college in Punjab for bsc nursing ?

Shubham Jha 20th Jun, 2025

Dear student,

Yes, CMC Ludhiana is one of the best choices for BSc Nursing in Punjab , often preferred over most semi-government medical colleges.

Why CMC Ludhiana Stands Out:

  • Reputation : It's a well-known and respected institute with a long legacy of quality education.

  • Merit-Based Admission : Seats are offered through an entrance exam (UG-AWT), with no donation or management quota.

  • Strong Academics : The college focuses on practical training, clinical exposure, and preparing students for careers in India and abroad.

  • Good Placements : Many students land jobs in top hospitals and also go on to work internationally.

  • Excellent Facilities : CMC provides modern labs, good infrastructure, and a well-maintained hospital for hands-on learning.
