Yes, non native students of Tamil nadu can also apply for CMC vellore.

CMC is a Private medical college in Vellore. Eligiblity criteria for CMC is-

• Candidates must have passed 12 ^th or equivalent from any recognized board.
• Candidates must secure 50% marks (For BC/MBC/SC/ST-40% and SC-PH/ST-PH/BC-PH/GEN-PH-45%) in their qualifying examination.
• Candidates must have passed with physics , chemistry and biology and English subjects .

There are overall 100 seats, which are divided as-

• 74 seats are reserved for the minoritiesand
• 10 seats fall under the CMC Vellore Staff quota.
• 16 seats are reserved for the open category candidates.

Nope, there is no such exam for counselling.  Counselling means you're given choice to choose your preferable courses(or branches) provided via the university, you've got to fill them according to with your desired order after according to your marks or rank and seats availability, the respective seat is alloted to you.

The procedure of the counselling is:

1. Fill the application form for CMC Vellore MBBS and Tamil Nadu MBBS counseling.
2. Admissions will be done on the basis of the rank you get in  NEET-UG.
3. Then submit your NEET result, then the authority will publish the merit list.
4. After that, you need to report the authorized person for further process and submit the required documents.
5. After document verification seat is allotted to you .
