Civil Engineer
Hi dear,
Hope you are doing well!
Now let's go through your question.
Nearly all the global and recognised companies recruit the students from here, particularly from the Manipal branch. The core branch(Civil/Mech) placements are there only in this college. The companies like Mercedes and Land Rover recruited the students in the tech filed. The companies like Microsoft and Nokia are alumni of MIT, so more eligible students are placed in the campus placements. The strength is proper, i.e., not overpopulated, so the placements are very frequent.
With a hige campus facilities, fully Wi-Fi and world-class sports facilities, you will really adore the place on the very first day.
Thank You & All the best!
Hi Uttam, I'm sorry but it is not clear about which entrance examination you are talking about. I'm afraid in your question you forgot to mention about which examination you want to know about.
Please ask again describing the examination about which you want to know about. Let me know if you need help with anything else.
Hope this helps. Regards

Hello ,
see dixit it totally depends from person to personand there is as such no rule written anywhere that which one will earn more than which one. Like you might feel like Architectures might get placed good and more earning , But what if a civil engg gets into the company where government are giving them tenders , then they will earn a very large amount. So both are equal and don't choose your career line based uponearning but choose based upon your mode of interest.
Hope this helps !
Hello aspirant,
Every branch is a good branch and have good scope if you excel in it.Instead going for good branches go for the branch which you are actually intrested in.As,you are diploma civil student so go for it.
Hi there.
Yes if you are doing diploma in civil engineering then after completing diploma , you can get direct second year admission in any college with the same stream .
The admission depends on your score . And the admission starts from August.
Hope this was helpful.
Hello Aspirant,
It seems like you are curious regarding Engineering. However, you have not mentioned or specified the name of the institution or college that you are interested in. Also, there is no such provision apparently in any of the institutions in India where you can directly take admission into the second year program of any branch of Engineering. Kindly expand your question with relevant information in them so that we can give you efficient answers. Good luck!
Hello Aspirant!
The salary one gets depends on a number of factors like the hiring company, the academic performance of the candidate, the experience of the candidate, the work performance of the candidate etc. Amongst these, experience plays a major role in determining the salary. One has to wait for a few years before getting a big package from any company.
So rank depends on the category you belong too also for getting seat into the college you are aiming for admission.
Hope you understood.
All the very best for your bright future!!
Hi Shashank,
It is definite that civil engineering students should be fluent in some of the softwares which are frequently asked for in industries and companies. You should have your hands on some of these softwares,
Software are just to make your task a little bit easy like you can easily render the structure and see what it is capable of. Also simple softwares like Autocad are useful to know the basics of these softwares. You should have perfection in Microsoft word, PowerPoint, Excel etc. These are the most important typo software asked in industries.
Hope this helps and all the best.
