It is definite that civil engineering students should be fluent in some of the softwares which are frequently asked for in industries and companies. You should have your hands on some of these softwares,
Software are just to make your task a little bit easy like you can easily render the structure and see what it is capable of. Also simple softwares like Autocad are useful to know the basics of these softwares. You should have perfection in Microsoft word, PowerPoint, Excel etc. These are the most important typo software asked in industries.

Hello aspirant.All the branches CSE,MECH ,Civil are better in their own way. Compared to other branches CSE is always the best. Cse is a branch of engineering which deals with programming amd is completely software side.You have many opportunities if you go with CSE. If you are interested in programming then go with CSE.

Job opportunities are available for B.E./B.Tech. Civil Engineering graduates in Governmentas well as Private sectors. Talking about Government sector, many enterprises such as ONGC, BHEL, IOC, PWD, Electricity boards, Town Planning department, NHAI, Armed Forces, Indian Railways etc requires qualified Civil Engineers. Salary scale is different in case of Private and Government sectors. But, the average starting salary is generally between 2-5 Lakh Rupees per year.
In private sector, prime recruiters are Construction firms. One may take up following job posts in such firms-

Hello Apoorva, there is no easy way to clear the JEE Mains exams. The easiest way to crack the exam is through continuous hard work. You need to study at the same pace until the date of the examination. You need to do regular revisions at the weekends. Follow the guidelines of your coaching mentors. Keep solving the question banks provided to you. But keep in mind to not study anything new at the last moment and only revise the things you know, so that there is not much pressure at the day of the exam.
