is lateral entry in b.tech (civil engineering) in NIT COLLEGE UTTRAKHAND available?

Hello Aspirant,

There is no lateral entry program in IITs & NITs. Diploma students can get admission in IITs for first year B.tech program through JEE Advanced after qualifying JEE Main.

You have scored very well so there is probability of getting seat there. But still your categories and quotas plays a major role. So I suggest you to check all the cutoffs. During option entry in JOSAA be cautious and select appropriate colleges.

Hello aspirant,

Based on your percentile score your rank will be around 17,000. The cutoff rank to get a seat in NIT,Trichy civil engineering last year was 12000. Since, the number of cadidates appearing for the exam will increase in april so you tleast need to score 98.5%.
