NIT silchar civil or Techo india University Computer science which is best?

ksinghh222 8th Dec, 2021

Hello,

NIT SILCHAR is a good, greenery campus with good infrastructural facilities. The positive thing about the college is that the freedom available here and students can involve in many activities like Gyansagar (social welfare), Illuminists (Literary club), musical club, dramatics club, mountaineering and trekking club and a lot .The college has also gym facility (but with no trainer). The faculty here is not that much good. The campus has high speed net access to students. This digital library (under construction) is largest of its kind in India. The campus placements are as usual good for CSE and ECE and remaining will have to perform well in their academics. The one and only defect for this college is the transportation .One will get frightened by road journey and only two flights from Silchar to Kolkata and Guwahati. I am damn sure that if the transportation facilities are good then this campus will be among the top 10 NIT's. There is a lot to learn and enjoy in this college.

Sohamsengupta8 27th Oct, 2021

Hello student,

As you have mentioned that you got 65 percentile but you have not mentioned in which examination you get this marks. If you're talking about JEE main examination in this percentile your rank will be above 3lakhs. And sorry to say you in this rank you cannot get any Government Engineering Colleges. But you can get seat in some private Engineering Colleges like

  • Upes dehradun
  • Lpu
  • Jain University Bangalore
  • Techno India
  • Samrat Ashok Technical Institute
  • Etc

You can go to this link you know more about those colleges

sir I got 32377 rank in eapcet which colleges can I get admission to mechanical or civil enginering and I belong to sc category

Shamik Debnath 27th Oct, 2021

Hiii

In view of the position you scored and thinking about your classification, it very well might be very hard to get as the earlier year cutoff for ece bunch was seen at a position under 6000 and for mechanical it was 8000.

Anyway you can expect seat like synthetic designing, metallurgical designing, structural designing and so forth

You can save choices for your favored gatherings as the shorts change from one year to another

Im a civil service aspirant. I have a tattoo of 2.5 inches of god Ganesh on my forearm. can i join civil service or not

Manas Daspriya 26th Oct, 2021

Hello aspirant,

Well the Civil Service Conduct Rules, does not mention anything about tattoos or piercings. Now if the tattoos are visible it may lead to some questions from one's interview panel but I don't feel they would outrightly disqualify a person just because of his/her tattoo.

You are not expected to behave like ‘unbecoming of a govt officer’ according to this clause you should avoid wearing tattoos on those parts of the body which are exposed to the public.

Hope it helps you..

Best of luck..

Im a civil service aspirant. I have a tattoo of 2.5 inches of god Ganesha on my forearm. can i join civil service or not

Priya Patel 26th Oct, 2021

Hey,

There is no such restriction of tattoos in UPSC or Civil Service exams. It is allowed and will not impose any problem. But it is advisable that the tattoo should not represent any kind of vulgarity or religious agenda that may harm or affect your personality.

Hope that helps.
