This depends on the institution you are seeking admission into. While some universities insist on keeping original documents, others just get the original verified and keep the Xerox version. This differs according to the rules of the college.  However, originals are surely required to be shown for verification

The problem that you are talking about related to your 12th result i guess it wasn't such a big deal because you said you have been pursuing or already completed your BTech degree which wouldn't have been possible otherwise. Don't worry there shouldn't be a problem with you

For improvement exam,only your theory portion marks will be improved..And practicalarks will be as it..So you don't need to be appear in practical examination..

Sorry to inform you, but the basic eligibility criteria for doing diploma in hospital management requires a student to pass until 10+2. Hence, she'll have to clear 12th class first, before opting for diploma.
