Well if your interested in diploma courses you have to definitely apply for the polytechnic exam. If you missed your chance of attempting polycet then study class 11 and 12 and then do a specific engineering branch you are interested in the naac recognized colleges.

Hello Ambika,

To become a software engineer in India, you need to opt for science after your class 10.

You should have the main subjects Physics, Chemistry and Maths in your class 11 & 12 and your additional/chosen subject should be Computer Science/IT/IP, do not choose for Physical Education instead.
