I got 6.2 cgpa in 10th,76% in 12th and 62% in graduation and worked as a private tutor. Can I prepare for CAT hoping for good placements?

Hello. Yes, you can prepare for CAT in order to get a bigger and a fatter pay check. You should focus on various sections of CAT,while preparing for the exam. It is more of a accuracy based exam, and hence you should focus on getting maximum correct responses.

Hi Aashi,
                Yes definitely you are eligible for CAT. The part is you have stream diversity. Because most of engineers do MBA, but as you are non-engineer, so if you score good in CAT, you have chances to get IIM A, B, C.

Recently FMS has changed its weightage criteria. Earlier it used to give 85% weightage to CAT marks, 10% to interview and 5% to extempore so scoring very high percentile with an average interview and extempore performance used to fix your dears

It entirely depends on the person. In my personal opinion, a student should not take coaching up and until Class 10.  Following are the reasons for that:-

Yes, you are surely eligible for JEE Advance. Only criteria for JEE Advance is you can appear it back to back only for 2 years and you should have a minimum 75% in 12th. As you have never ever attempted JEE Advance earlier you will be eligible.
