Hello

Each company has it's own recruitment policies. Some good companies ask for throughout 60% or 70% for selection but these companies are only 20 to 30%. There are a lot of companies which do not have any percentage criteria for selection in the placements.

Students should score a minimum of 50 % in all of the subjects together (including vocational  subject). Physics and Mathematics are compulsory subjects with any one of Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical/Vocational subjects. Changing field is common and will not at all be problematic if your interest is in the course. If you have future plans in travel and tourism then surely the course will surely help you. In future you can do MBA in travel and tourism or pg diploma

Admission to professional courses is mainly based on the marks(rank) obtained by the candidate in a competitive examination(nation/state-wide). So, one should carry the marks/rank card, rather than the DoB certificate which is required, in any case, by the institution admitting the student for the course.

Hello Dhiva,

I'm assuming you're a general category student as you haven't mentioned any specific category.
With 66 percentile you won't get into any NIT.
Even cutoff for advanced is 89.75 percentile.
Also you've more than 75% percent in boards so how much above 75% doesn't matter.

We have 70 marks for theory and 30 marks for practical in Physics and Chemistry. Those two components make up 100 marks which is the total marks in both the subjects. To pass, you have to score 33% in each because that's the passing criteria. So, 33% of 70 is

Your concern is quite genuine. Generally we see a lot of freshers in the 2 year MBA course. Although ppl with workex are there but maximum is up to 3 years with very few among them with more than 4 years of experience.
