You haven't told about your graduation degree and pencentage , but if you're from humanities background, and you got 50% you can get admission call from IIM Calcutta but for science, engeering and other background you must have 60% score in your graduation.

When you'll start your higher secondary studies i.e. 11-12 Std, simultaneously your preparation for national level exams will be started by your coaching institute. Your need to focus on both the studies that time.. i.e. your school work studies + your coachings. Hope your are getting my point.

You are in 10th so you have a lot of time . If your aim is Jipmer then you should know that it conducts  it's own entrance exams for admission there and 10th and 12th marks don't matter much except for a minimum cutoff.
