They are so many ways to study in usa,they are various examation like GRE,SAT,ILETS Etc.

As your are citizen of USA u need not write  Ielts.If you want to purse master  u need GRE,for undergraduate u need SAT score.

After 12 you can go for btech stream which includes medical and engineering  ,degree stream .
Btech is the best preferred option so that you will be entering in to IT fields and as well as electronics fields based on the department you prefer
