You might have problems in interviews as they mightcask your year gap.

You can state reason for the same.

Also you need to show some internship or certificate cours eyou had pursued while year gap and state that you wmated to go into Diploma for more technical expertise and hence

If you were born before July 1, 2003, you are eligible to apply for NDA next year. There are. however, several other eligibility requirements regarding height, weight, eyesight. You might get an idea about the same by reading on the current year's NDA eligibility criteria.
