If you study 12th with ignoring 11th then you are in wrong path.

Accept my advice first complete 11th then 12th.

If you want to crack the IIT then you should 1st focus on basics then implement in it and solve too may questions.

You should focus on periodic table, chemical bonding , p block , f block , basic organic , stiochiometry Atomic str etc

But you need to look out well for the following topics from class 11th.

Chemistry :

• General Organic chemistry
• Isomerism
• Thermodynamics(Common in Physics) n Equilibrium

Maths :
