Admissions in Thapar University are done in two modes,
Mode1 - in which your 60% in PCM board marks will be considered and 20% in jee marks will considered.
Mode2 - 80% pcm marks are consider and 15% jee main score.
Your board percentage are up to the mark but
To go into research you have to first complete your graduation and post-graduation. You do graduation in any course as you said you're interested in electronics so you can either do BSc in physics then MSC or you can choose Btech from ECE then later on do Mtech in ECE

Your next step would be to prepare for engineering entrance exams like JEE MAINS and ADVANCED and get good marks in it and also in 12th std ,your PHYSICS , CHEMISTRY AND MATHS marks should be good in order to get admission in best institutes like NIT
Hello. As per my research, you can take the subject only if your school allows for it.
Because there are some guidelines under board, so please do write a formal letter explaining why you want the subject change and then wait for the decision.

In order to gain admission in the course of Textile Engineering you must meet the eligibility criteria for the same.
A 10+2 pass out with minimum 50% aggregate marks in physics, chemistry and Mathematics is eligible for B.Tech Textile Engineering.
It is a 4 year long course just
Yes you can surely do that. But then there's actually no need to sit for an improvement exam because 61 is actually enough if your focus is just NEET. If you want to keep some other options open, then you might as well want to give the improvement exam.
