For the first 2 years just try to explore different areas like Electrical Engineering, Machine Learning, Data Science, Mathematics, Research, College Communities and Clubs, try doing couple of Internships as well as attempt part time jobs and money making opportunities like Stock Market, Cryptocurrency, Content Writing, Tutoring and so on.

Dont take too much of a Load, but ensure your CGPA remains above 8.5 always and you study Core Electrical Engineering and Mathematics well. Once in the 2nd Half of your 3rd Year, 6th Semester start regular preparation for GATE and IES parallely. You will have just about a Year or so and studying dedicatedly, you will easily make it into a PSU or some of the Best Technical Institutions for M.Tech.

To start your own coaching centre you will require certain things. For example you should be financially stable to rent a place and create awareness about your centre. Then if you are teaching yourself then reach out to parents who are willing to send students to you. And if you want someone to do the job. Then start hiring some good tutors.

Before starting a center, you have to decide about the subjects that will be taught in the center.

The higher your educational qualification, the higher the level you will be able to teach and also the more amount of money you can charge.

The best option is to do a little bit of research to find out what subjects are in demand in your locality. Find a subject that is in great demand amongst the students but there is hardly any tutor available for it, then you must start with it. You can hire an expert tutor who can offer quality education to the students and charges affordable rates.

Make sure that the center must be located in any central place. It means that you also hire commercial space, preferably a nice complex in the town or city.

You have to get hold of the right curriculum, test papers of previous papers along with other materials such textbooks, calculators, papers, and pens. Buying second-hand books will be cheaper than buying new books or study materials.

Besides usual markers or whiteboards, you can use other innovative tools for teaching. These include charts, working models, online help or support from other experts of the same industry and so on.

I hope you are doing good. I would like to know you that this question can be answered only be self analysis. It depends on which level you are , your consistency in studying, you do have proper roadmap or not, a dedicated aspirant to do pair study with ,Time you are giving for the preparation .

In cracking the entrance, the most important thing is self study with pure dedication and consistency.

There is no online coaching for GATE exam, you can definitely try Byjus, Unacademy but I would say don't go for that. Only test series is available online which is a must. You will be able to ask doubts frequently to your tutors.
