College admission
Hi
I am considering that you are from general category
With 70 percentile
your rank will be 306900 - 345000 around as per our rank predictor at https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-rank-predictor
you have no chance in NITs/IIITs etc with above predicted rank. You may try for state counselling for Government Engineering College but even for that your chances are low
With 70 percentile, you may not even qualify jee main as per past year trends .
For example,
In 2020, qualifying cutoff for general category was 90.3765335 and jee main 2021 expected qualifying cut off percentile is 90-95 percentile.
You can check the same at our page the link is provided below
https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-cutoff
So, I would suggest to you focus on your preparation for remaining sessions of jee main so that you can improve your score , go through chapters , practise questions and then revise them, go through mock test paper sample papers and previous year question papers as it will let you know your preparation level and and weak areas so that you can work on them and perform well in your examination. To help you in your application you can use our jee main knockout for which link is provided below

Hello Dear,
Yes, currently it is very beneficial if you fall under this category you can try out for this. The Union Government of India tabled the Constitution (One Hundred And Twenty-Fourth Amendment) Bill, 2019 which provided 10% additional quota for the EWS students amongst the erstwhile Unreserved Category or General Category students.
You can see the difference in NIT Trichy cutoff for General and OBC category:
Branch - cutoff (Gen) - cutoff (EWS)
Chemical Eng - 11570 - 22549
Civil Eng - 12924 - 15375
Computer Science - 1536 - 2937
Electrical and Electronics - 5389 - 6227
From the above comparison you can see the difference:
Good Luck
Dear student,
Studying Mechanical Engineering from College of Engineering, Guindy is a better choice. It is an affiliated college of Anna University, Chennai.
Coming to comparison between College of Engineering, Guindy and National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirapalli obviously NIT Trichy is the best college. It ranked 9 by NIRF. It is a Public/Government College. Median Placement package here is 7.5 LPA. Now you can understand whether College of Engineering, Guindy matches with NIT Trichy reputation wise and standard wise.

Hello STudent, BCom BPS is a course which services as financial accountant, financial analyst, financial manager, departmental head of account accounts.
In India other than BCom honours BCom BPS salary and position is very good BCOM.BPS Bachelor of commerce business process service course introduced by TCS which offered the salary of 23.75 plus per annum.
But US CMA certified Management accountant is the highest salary job who get 799 498 rupees per month after completion of their course certified Management accountant. BCom BPS is accepted only in India but US CMA is accepted globally.
So in the context of salary US CMA course is the best among BCom BPS and BCom honours graduate.
Hope this helps.
hello aspirant,
84 percentile would fetch you a rank around 163680-184000. ,now these are based on previous year analysis .As of now its tough to say because the analysis and also cutoffs change every year due to many factors like total students appearing for exam, difficulty level of paper etc.now as you did not mention your category considering you from gen category based on your rank you will have nearly very low to no chances to fetch seat in nits unless you have some category benefits.you need a better score atleast 96-98+ percentile to fetch seat .work hard and improve your score in upcoming jeemain sessions. for more information refer to:
https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor
hope this helps,
thankyou.
The qualifying cut off percentile for SC category for JEE Main 2020 was 50.1760245 and the qualifying cut off percentile for SC category for JEE Main 2021 is expected to be in between 50-55 percentile. Considering the previous year cut off percentile you have decent chances of qualifying JEE Main 2021. But cut off may increase or decrease depending on number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of examination and number of seats available etc. Your overall rank is expected to be in between 327360 - 368000 with such rank you may not get seat in NIT or IIIT. You need to score minimum 90-92 percentile. So if you want to get admission in IIT you can prepare for JEE Advanced but if you want to get admission in NITs or IIITs you need to prepare for JEE Main March/April/May session. We have JEE Main knockout package you may check the details and enroll to help you with your preparation
