i secured 4169 rank under sc category, in jee advanced. which all colleges can i get for computer science, IT, and electronics communication.

Anurag Khanna 16th Oct, 2021

Hello Aspirant,

According to the category and rank mentioned by you in the question you have very low or almost no chances of getting into any of the IITs because the closing SC ranks for IITs were around 2500-3200 and you are very far from the figure so you can hardly get any IIT with any of the branches.

But don't get disappointed because if you have good rank in JEE-Main then you can get good NITs also and you can predict the colleges which you can get from JEE-Main by using JEE-Main College Predictor :-

https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

Even though you have very low chances but still to have a list of all those colleges which you can get based upon your JEE-Advance 2021 score you can use JEE-Advance College Predictor:-

https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-advanced-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of previous year's cut-off and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

You can check out previous year's cut-offs from the link given below :-

https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx

Or you can also refer to the link given below for previous years JEE-Advanced cut-off for IITs :-

JEE-Advance 2021 cut-offs are mentioned below :-

>>> GEN-EWS rank list - 9.0 - 31.5

>>> OBC-NCL rank list - 9.0 - 31.5

>>> SC rank list - 5.0 - 17.5

>>> ST rank list - 5.0 - 17.5

>>> CRL-PwD rank list - 5.0 - 17.5

>>> GEN-EWS-PwD rank list - 5.0 - 17.5

MY JEE MAINS 2021 rank is 86755, What all Colleges should I fill up In JOSAA COUNSELLING started Today?

sheemaashraf123 21st Oct, 2021

It is usually advised to fill the choices as per the preference of colleges and departments, for example CSE in NIT Trichy is your priority followed by CSE in NIT Warangal, you can fill CSE at NIT Trichy at serial number 1 and CSE at NIT Warangal at serial number 2 and so on and so forth.

but the previous cut off of colleges should be taken in consideration, it is better to research over the cut off of colleges then make a preference list of colleges and fill accordingly

for the college preferences and to know which colleges participate in the JOSAA counselling, please go to the below mentioned link:

Hi I am getting 153 marks in NEET 2021 (general category), can you suggest me private bds colleges in bangalore

Kashish Saxena 18th Oct, 2021

Hello aspirant,

According to previous year cutoffs trend there are less chances for you to get seat in private dental colleges in your category. However cutoffs changes every year due to various factors such as number of students attempted exam and number of students participated in counselling. But still you can try for some private dental colleges in Bangalore and other cities of your state:

  • Sri Jagadguru Murugharajendra Dental College, Shimoga
  • College of Dental Science, Davangere
  • A. J Institute of Dental Science, Mangalore
  • Srinivas institute of Dental Science, Mangalore

Also according to your score you can try for BAMS colleges, BHMS and BVSc college in your state. For more college options at your score you can use our NEET UG college predictor tool:
